Dr. Freeman is proud to enter her 21st year in education and her 11th year in school administration, all within the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. She began her career as an English teacher at La Habra High School, where she quickly became involved in school culture through programs such as AVID, Cheer, the Marketing and Business Academy, Yearbook, and Journalism. These experiences fueled her passion for student engagement and cultivating a strong sense of school community.

Her path in school leadership began with four years as an Assistant Principal at La Habra High School, followed by three years at Sunny Hills High School. In these roles, she supported students, families, and staff in the areas of student activities, athletics, special education, instruction, and school operations. Most recently, Dr. Freeman served as the Coordinator of Educational Services, where she worked collaboratively with schools across the District to support data-driven instruction and assessment practices, and ensured that students' rights were protected under Title IX.

Now at La Vista/La Sierra, Dr. Freeman is excited and honored to join a school community where building meaningful relationships is at the heart of everything. She is passionate about creating authentic connections with students, families, and staff, believing that trust and collaboration are key to student success. Dr. Freeman is committed to fostering a supportive environment where every individual feels seen, valued, and empowered to grow.

Outside of work, Dr. Freeman enjoys spending time with her husband, also Dr. Freeman, and their blended “Brady Bunch” of five children, ranging in age from 9 to 14. As a family, they love spending time by the ocean, especially long walks on the beach with their French bulldog, Kobe, though he's not particularly enthusiastic about the "long" part of those walks.
