Hey Lions!!! I was born and raised in Chicago (GO BEARS!) and moved to California in 1998 to start my teaching career. I have worked in 3 school districts where I was an elementary Physical Education Teacher, High School Physical Education teacher, Boys and Girls Basketball coach, Swimming & Diving coach and Administrator. My educational journey started at Northeastern Illinois University, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree; Brandman University, where I earned a Master’s Degree; and now at the University of Massachusetts Global, where I am currently working towards my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
I started in FJUHSD in 2016 at Troy High School and I am in my 5th year at LaVista/LaSierra High Schools. I have a 20 year old son, Nathan.
I truly enjoy working with our students every day!! They bring a huge smile to my face and joy to my life!!
