iSierra Online Academy
General Information
La Sierra High School offers an online Independent Study Program via the iSierra Online Academy. The Academy is able to provide individualized, flexible scheduling through our innovative full-time and hybrid programs.
Students meet one-on-one with Supervising Teachers who oversee their overall progress, as well as one-on-one with course teachers who assist with their coursework.
iSierra Welcomes students who:
» Prefer more flexibility in their daytime schedule.
» Need expanded options to address scheduling conflicts due to sports, advanced courses, or academy involvement.
» Wish to accelerate their learning to enter college sooner or pursue professional sports or careers.
» Wish to attend community college classes concurrently with their high school classes.
» Prefer a home school environment.
» Desire to begin the transition from a home school environment to a comprehensive campus.

Our Programs
We offer a number of programs to meet a variety of student needs.

Students will be enrolled at La Sierra High School, and all courses will be taken online through the iSierra Online Academy. Students have a weekly appointment with their Supervising Teacher, and are assigned work to be completed each week for all scheduled courses.

Students are able to maintain a partial schedule of online courses and a partial schedule of on-campus courses. Students enroll at La Sierra High School, taking online classes via the iSierra Online Academy, and may take up to 3 classes at a comprehensive high school. Students are able to participate in campus sports, clubs, and other extra curricular activities.

Students maintain a partial schedule of online courses and a partial schedule of on-campus courses. Students remains enrolled at their comprehensive high school, but may take 1 to 2 online classes through the iSierra Online Academy @ La Sierra High School during periods 1-6. This opportunity is limited to a maximum of 2 courses at a time.

Students are enrolled at their comprehensive high school, but may take one online class through iSierra Online Academy @ La Sierra High School as a 9th period course. Students must be enrolled in at least 5 on-campus classes on their comprehensive campus. This opportunity is limited to one course at a time.
