PE
Each student needs 20 credits of Physical Education to graduate from the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. Students will have the opportunity to participate in our Advanced Fitness Lab along with being able to have competitive games of Ping Pong on 2 of our new professional tables. Students will also have the option of participating in outside activities consisting of Basketball, Badminton, Soccer, Football and Dodgeball. They will also have a weekly requirement of walking a mile using pedometers and analyzing data on steps, distance and calories burned. All students will be evaluated each day depending on participation levels and daily activity in the Fitness Lab or outside activities.
HEALTH
Each student needs 2.5 credits of Health to graduate from the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. Students will have the opportunity to take Health in-class or online (approval is needed for the online option).
The Health course provides students with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. It covers a broad range of topics, including personal health, mental and emotional health, nutrition, physical activity, injury prevention, and substance abuse prevention. Students will analyze the impact of these factors on their overall health and learn to apply this knowledge to their own lives.
