La Vista/La Sierra High Schools and Orange County Child Exploitation Task Force Internet Safety Presentation Day: April 15, 2014 Place: La Vista Library Time: 5:00PM
The Child Exploitation Task Force is a multi-agency group, comprised of Homeland Security Investigations, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Orange County District Attorney’s Office, US Postal Inspection Service and several local police departments throughout Orange County. We are also affiliated with the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Our mission is to investigate Internet-related crimes against children by responding to reports of child exploitation and aggressively pursuing those who seek to prey on our children. We also seek to teach children as to the dangers associated with using the Internet as well as educate parents about the benefits of actively monitoring their child’s online activity.
