Back to School Night

Back to School Night Join us for the back-to-school night August 27th at 6:30 PM, which will meet at the beginning in the library. ASB will be selling pizza and soda for $3:00, pizza for $2.50. You can visit classrooms, meet your sons or daughters teachers, find out how your son or daughter is doing and refreshments will be provided by our friends and supporters from the Assistance league of Fullerton

Would you like to cut meal preparation time out of your busy schedule while adding money to your wallet; your student could receive a great breakfast and lunch at school.
Complete the 2014/15 Free & Reduced Meal Application to see if your family qualifies for the time and money savings listed above.
If your family qualifies you will receive an eligibility letter in the mail and you can start adding money back to your wallet.
Applications can be obtained by clicking the on the above header or visiting the District’s Web site at www.fjuhsd.net, at your student’s high school administration office, or the District Education Center, Food Service office located at 1051 W. Bastanchury Road, Fullerton

Our student, Greg Diaz, won second prize for his Adobe Illustrator self portrait, which he created in Mr. Calderas class!

There were 88 entries, most of which were highly acomplished works. This is a high honor, and speaks well of Greg's talent and determination!

La Vista would like to thank the Wilson W. Phelps Foundation for the generous donation to La Vista High school.

The Wilson W. Phelps Foundation's primary focus is to provide seed money and capital contributions for educational, humanitarian, "green", and/or creative programs, within Fullerton, Anaheim, and Buena Park.

This years grant award, $59,000 will go towards the purchase of new computers for the film and animation classes taught at La Vista. This gift will go a long way towards supporting our students education and growth in technology and the arts. In addition to the supporting the film and animation classes, with new computers, the older computers will be used to create a new campus computer lab. This lab will be available to students, teachers and staff.
